The Lake Forest College men's soccer team was defeated 2-0 at
North Central College Tuesday night (October 13). The Foresters
fell to 5-7-1 on the year while the Cardinals raised their mark to
6-8-0.
Both North Central goals were scored during the first half, the
first just 1:46 into the contest and the second in the 27th minute.
Both teams attempted eight shots in the period, including five on
goal for the Cardinals and four for the Foresters.
While niether team scored in the second half, Lake Forest did get
off 11 shots to North Central's four. Three Forester shots were on
goal, one more than the home team.
The Foresters had not played since October 4 and will have to wait
another eight days until their next game on Wednesday, October 21.
The team will host Elmhurst College, another non-conference
opponent, at 4:00 p.m.
