Kevin Glabowicz

Assistant Coach Kevin Glabowicz joined the Forester staff in 2020-21.

Lake Forest posted a 16-13 overall record and finished second in the Midwest Conference standings with a 7-1 mark in league play in 2022. The Foresters qualified for the four-team MWC Tournament for the first time since 2014 and made their first appearance in the event's final since 2011. Mary Gegen and Madison Stevens ranked among the top five in the conference in kills during league matches and were named First Team All-MWC while Izzi Visnjevac was fourth in digs and earned second team honors. Glabowicz, head coach Katie Rueffer, and fellow assistant Cassidy Shaul were named MWC Coaching Staff of the Year.

The Foresters are 11-5 in conference play and have earned four All-MWC selections since Glabowicz joined the staff.

Also an experienced and successful coach at the club and prep levels, Glabowicz led the Lakes Community High School boys volleyball team to four consecutive conference titles and a regional champiomship during his six years as head coach. The Eagles were 34-4 in league play during that span. 

Glabowicz is also a history teacher at Cristo Rey St. Martin College Preparatory School, where he coached boys and girls volleyball for a combined four seasons.

Glabowicz graduated from Illinois State University and nearby Waukegan High School and currently resides in Waukegan with his wife Kaia and their newborn son Kazimir.
