Lake Forest College

Heather Noll, the head coach of the Forester volleyball team since 2012, added assistant director of athletics to her official position at the College in November of 2017. 

Administratively, Noll serves as the advisor for Lake Forest's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Athletic Council, and Forester Fanatics and has twice been named the College's Student Organization Advisor of the Year.

Noll came to Lake Forest from Buena Vista University, where she was the head volleyball coach for four seasons. Her coaching career also includes two years as a graduate assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. In addition to coaching, she also served as an assistant to Whitewater's strength and conditioning coach and as an ad-hoc instructor in the physical education department. Noll also has experience coaching at numerous volleyball camps and clinics and as the head men's club volleyball coach at UW-Whitewater.

A successful player during her college career, Noll spent two years each at Indian Hills Community College and Coe College, which along with Lake Forest is a member of the Associated Colleges of the Midwest. She was a two-year IIAC All-Academic Team honoree at Coe and, as a senior, was the team's captain and Most Valuable Player.
