Lake Forest College

Cassidy Shaul joined the Forester coaching staff in 2022.

Lake Forest posted a 16-13 overall record and finished second in the Midwest Conference standings with a 7-1 mark in league play in 2022. The Foresters qualified for the four-team MWC Tournament for the first time since 2014 and made their first appearance in the event's final since 2011. Mary Gegen and Madison Stevens ranked among the top five in the conference in kills during league matches and were named First Team All-MWC while Izzi Visnjevac was fourth in digs and earned second team honors. Shaul, head coach Katie Rueffer, and fellow assistant Kevin Glabowicz were named MWC Coaching Staff of the Year. 

Shaul graduated from The Ohio State University in May of 2022 with a degree in health sciences. She competed for four years on Ohio State's club women's volleyball team, which was the national runner-up in Division III in 2022.

Also a graduate of Lake Forest High School, Shaul played varsity soccer and volleyball for the Scouts.
