After three-and-a-half years as an assistant women's tennis coach at the College, Scot Reinhart was named head coach in January of 2021. He holds the same position with the men's program.
Lake Forest was 16-5 overall, matching the fifth-highest victory total in program history, and finished second in the Midwest Conference standings with a mark of 5-1 in league play in 2025-26. The Foresters were the runners-up at the MWC Tournament, making their eighth consecutive appearance in the event's final, and were 47th in the year's final Intercollegiate Tennis Association national rankings. Reinhart is now 78-35 overall with victories in 30 of 35 league matches in six seasons as head coach. The team is also 138-53 overall and 55-7 in the conference since he joined the staff.
Forester players captured titles at seven of nine spots in the lineup at the 2025 MWC Individual Tournament. Sofia Strupovets, Lilli Dockal, and Anya Mookencherry were league champions in singles and doubles and were also named All-MWC in both formats. Since Reinhart came to the College, Foresters have been named All-MWC 34 times and Strupovets and Dockal have each been named MWC Player of the Year.
Reinhart has also led the Forester men to a 69-45 overall record with a 30-5 mark in the MWC over the last six years. He has now helped lead the team to a 114-81 overall record and a 49-10 mark in league play in his 10 seasons with the program. Lake Forest won the 2026 MWC Tournament and was the runner-up at the event in seven of the previous eight years. Players on the team have earned 31 all-conference honors in the last eight full seasons.
Reinhart was the head boys and girls tennis coach at Lane Tech High School from 2016 to 2020 and led the girls team to a third place finish at the Chicago Public Schools City Tournament his first season. Prior to taking over the program at Lane Tech, he was the head junior varsity and assistant varsity coach at Chicago's Northside College Preparatory High School and led the JV team to four CPS titles.
Reinhart resides in nearby Vernon Hills.
