The 2024 season will be the first at Lake Forest College for assistant coach Nicole Burris.
Burris came to the College after a year as the head junior varsity coach at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in nearby Lincolnshire, Illinois. Her coaching experience also includes working at select camps around the country and six years of leading boys soccer teams in Calgary and Ottawa, Canada.
A 1999 graduate of Temple University, Burris (then Nicole Ross) scored 145 career goals, including 67 as a senior to earn Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Year and Second Team All-American honors. She helped lead the Owls to three NCAA Tournament appearances and was inducted into the Temple Athletics Hall of Fame in 2020. She was named to US Lacrosse's "All-Black Team" in 2021.
