Maya DeGeorge

Maya DeGeorge joined the Lake Forest College Athletic Department Staff in the summer of 2025 as an administrative assistant and assistant women's lacrosse coach.

DeGeorgeĀ is a 2025 graduate of Beloit College, where she set single-season program records with 75 goals, 81 points, and 88 ground balls as a senior and became the Buccaneers career leader with 177 draw controls, despite playing just two years at the school. She was voted the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Midfielder of the Year and earned her second consecutive First Team All-NACC honor in 2025. A versatile athlete, DeGeorge also helped Beloit's women's soccer team qualify for the four-team Midwest Conference Tournament in 2023.

Successful in the classroom as well, DeGeorgeĀ was named a NACC Scholar Athlete following each of her two years at Beloit and secured a spot on the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll in 2022, the first of her two seasons playing at Colorado College.

A native of Grand Junction, Colorado, DeGeorge earned First Team All-State accolades and was theĀ Western Slope Conference and Grand Valley
Lacrosse Player of the Year.

DeGeorge's coaching experience includes a summer as a volunteer assistant with Denver City Lacrosse and several years as a youth basketball camp counselor.
