Michael Bonitatibus spent his second season with the Foresters in 2025.

The Foresters posted a 10-8 overall record and tied for third place in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference standings with a league mark of 8-3 in 2025. They also reached the semifinals of the NACC Tournament. Nine players on the team were named all-conference, including one First Team All-NACC selection and the NACC Freshman of the Year.

Lake Forest is 26-11 overall and 12-3 in league play with a regular season title, conference tournament crown, and NCAA Division III Tournament appearance in two years since Bonitatibus joined the staff.

Bonitatibus came to the program with a wealth of playing and coaching experience, most recently with the Lake Forest youth and high school community. Before moving to the Chicago area Michael served for two seasons as an assistant coach with the Pace University men's lacrosse team.

As a player, Bonitatibus was part of the NCAA Division I Championship team with the Loyola Maryland Greyhounds in 2012, making a save in the national title tile against Maryland.

Bonitatibus went to Loyola following a standout career at Yorktown High School where he was All-Section and All-League in 2007, 2008, and 2009.
