Shea Cupples

The 2025-26 season will be the first at Lake Forest for assistant coach Shea Cupples.

Cupples spent the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant at Ball State University. He assisted the coaches with film needs, created and implemented individual and group workouts, and had numerous other administrative duties, including serving as the director of the team's summer camp. His coaching experience also includes serving as a camp leader at the University of Alabama's summer camp, conducting individual workouts with youth players in his hometown of Normal, Illinois, and volunteering with his high school team during the summer prior to his senior year of college.

During his collegiate career at North Central College, Cupples played in 70 games and racked up 502 points, 241 rebounds, and 162 assists. The guard was a two-year team captain and twice received the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's R.E.S.P.E.C.T. Award. He graduated in 2023 with a degree in sport management before earning a master's degree in athletic coaching education from Ball State in 2025.
