Mark Gorogianis

The 2024 season was the third for Mark Gorogianis as a member of the Forester coaching staff. He directly oversees the team's wide receivers and serves as a recruiting coordinator.

Lake Forest posted an overall record of 10-1 and a perfect 9-0 mark in Midwest Conference play to claim the conference title. The Foresters also competed in the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time in program history. Wide receiver/running back A.J. Jackson was named MWC Offensive Skill MVP while wideouts Trevor Land and Langston Metoyer earned Second Team All-MWC honors. The three players combined for 107 receptions for 1,927 yards with 18 touchdown catches.

The Foresters are now 26-6 overall and 23-4 in MWC play with a pair of league titles and NCAA Playoff appearances since Gorogianis joined the staff. A dozen different wideouts have recorded at least one receiving touchdown and the group hs combined for 361 receptions for 5238 yards and 52 scores during that span.

Gorogianis spent the 2021 season as a graduate assistant coach at Eastern Illinois University, where he worked with the team's wide receivers and tight ends. He was also significantly involved in film breakdown, scouting reports, and position-specific recruiting.

A 2017 graduate of Northwestern University, Gorogianis was a three-year member of the football program and an Academic All-Big Ten honoree. His degree was in economics.

Gorogianis also attended Montini Catholic High School, where he was a quarterback and wide receiver and part of four Illinois 5A state championship-winning teams.
