The Elevating the Rock Award is presented when merited to an individual whose extraordinary effort, commitment, and pride elevate the standard of excellence within the Lake Forest College Football program. This honor recognizes those who go above and beyond to deliver a championship experience for our student-athletes—through their actions, their support, and their unwavering belief in what Forester Football represents.
The award draws its meaning from the “Rock Standard”—a guiding theme within the program inspired by the championship monument at Farwell Field. The Rock stands as a literal and symbolic representation of the championship mentality that defines our pursuit of excellence, unity, and legacy.
Recipients of the Elevating the Rock Award may come from any part of the Lake Forest College community—alumni, family, friends, or supporters—who embody that same championship mindset and whose contributions strengthen the foundation on which Forester Football continues to rise.
