Lake Forest College's Ben Jones was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week on Tuesday for his performance in the Foresters' shutout of Grinnell College on Saturday.

Jones, a sophomore defensive end, recorded a pair of sacks for a loss of 16 yards and added a quarterback hurry in the game. The Lake Forest defense limited the Pioneers to just eight yards rushing and 77 overall and the visitors crossed midfield just once on the day.

Jones leads the team with 2.5 sacks so far this season and his 4.5 tackles for loss on the year are tied for the highest total on the squad.

The D3football.com Team of the Week began in 1999 and Jones is the 28th Forester to make the list.
