The Lake Forest College women's volleyball team was defeated in three sets by Concordia University Wisconsin and Bethel University at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls' Falcon Invite on Saturday.
Elise Kelley led the Foresters with eight kills and tied for the team lead with the same number of digs against Concordia Wisconsin.
Meghan Winston matched her dig total while
Lilly Robinson tallied 15 assists and served up three aces.
The Falcons took the opening set 25-20, the second 25-15, and the third 25-21.
Kelley notched her second double-double of the weekend with a team-high 11 kills and 11 digs and also led the squad with three blocks against Bethel.
L'Rae White and
Rylie Almoradie also had 11 digs apiece and Winston finished with 13 assists.
Rio Dirksen recorded a pair of aces, six kills, and a .357 hitting percentage in the contest.
Bethel edged out Lake Forest 25-22 in set one before rolling 25-12 in the second and 25-14 in the third.
The losses dropped the Foresters' record on the season to 0-5 while Concordia Wisconsin improved to 4-2 and Bethel to 5-2.
Lake Forest will host five matches next week, beginning with Wednesday night's home opener against Concordia University Chicago, which will begin at 7:00 p.m.
