The Golf Coaches Association of American announced the 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for NCAA Division III on Monday and four Lake Forest players were among the honorees.

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf NCAA Division III All-America Scholar nomination, individuals must be a sophomore, junior, or senior both academically and athletically. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 79.0, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
 
Forester sophomores Nate Choi and Tyler Poker and juniors Tyler Wengronowitz and Tyler Schick were among more than 250 NCAA Division III athletes from 91 schools to be named 202526 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars. In addition, Lake Forest was one of just 29 programs with at least four players on the list.

Choi posted a scoring average of 75.76 and played in each of the Foresters' 11 events and 25 rounds this season. He is a double-major in finance and data science with a computer science concentration. Poker, a business major, participated in all but one of those events and averaged 76.64 strokes over 22 rounds. Both players were also St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic honorees.

Wengronowitz and Schick were Cobalt Golf All-American Scholars for the second time in their collegiate careers. Wengronowitz is majoring in finance and led the Foresters with a 73.12 scoring average while Schick, a business major with a concentration in management, was at exactly 76.00. They also joined Choi and Poker in earning SLIAC All-Academic accolades. Schick earned that honor for the second year in a row and was also a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® selection.

Lake Forest has now had at least one player named a All-America Scholar by the GCAA each of the last seven full seasons.
