7/8/2026 1:10:00 PM

The American Hockey Coaches Association announced the Krampade All-American Scholars for the 2025-26 season on Wednesday and 16 players from Lake Forest College appeared on the list of honorees.

To qualify, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.75 grade point average for each semester during the 2025-26 academic year and had to appear in at least 40 percent of the team's games. Krampade and the AHCA are honoring 550 men and 444 women from NCAA Division II and III institutions in the 10th year of the award.

Eleven members of the Forester men's team were among the student-athletes recognized on Wednesday. Seniors Chase Freiermuth, Philip Quetell, and Justin Ross added to a long list of academic awards they have earned during their four years at the College. They were joined by junior Alexander Rohlf; sophomores Max Abramson, Jonah Copre, and Trevor Faucher; and freshmen Will Brown, Christopher O'Flaherty, Jack Rispin, and Luke Szyszka.

On the women's side, senior Holly Kiernan led a group of five Lake Forest honorees that also includes juniors Victoria Liu and Annika Sankner, as well as freshmen Sophie Smith and Delaney Zerfass.
