The Midwest Conference released the list of 2025-26 Academic All-MWC honorees on Wednesday and exactly 200 Forester student-athletes were recognized, the highest total in school history.

The criteria to become an Academic All-MWC selection includes a minimum grade point average of 3.33 during the entire academic year. Student-athletes who letter in any MWC sport are eligible for the award.

Football posted Lake Forest's largest number of Academic All-MWC selections with 38 and were one of six teams to match or exceed their previous program records. The others were women's soccer (21), women's track and field (19), men's track and field (15), women's volleyball (14), and women's basketball (11). Of the College's 15 sports that compete in the MWC, 12 had at least half of the final roster mentioned in Wednesday's release. Leading the way in terms of percentage was women's soccer with 21 of 26 (80.8%) team members honored, women's track and field with 19 of 24 (79.2%), and softball with 18 of 23 (78.3%).

Twenty-four (17 women, 7 men) members of the Forester swimming and diving program were listed and men's soccer also ranked among the leaders with 19 honorees. Meanwhile, men's basketball (9), women's (9) and men's (8) cross country, and men's (8) and women's (6) tennis were among the College's programs with more than half the roster recognized on Wednesday.

Forty-eight of the Foresters listed were seniors, including four-time honorees Amelie Andres, Alex Brown, Kyla Chevalier, George Ciuca, Thomas DeChesaro, Cadence Dempsey, Tucker Forrest, Anna Hoffman, Christian Karabetsos, Lilly Robinson, Kate Ryan, Jamie Springstead, Brooke Swiecki, Morgan Traxinger, Ian Villardi, Valeria Welk.

Lake Forest also competes in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (men and women), St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (men's and women's golf), and Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (men's and women's lacrosse). In all, 296 Foresters received conference academic honors, 23 more than the previous school record set last year.
