Despite falling behind 3-0 early, the Forester women's lacrosse team cruised to a 21-3 victory over visiting Lawrence University on Saturday.
The scoring output matched Lake Forest's season high while the winning margin of 18 goals tied the seventh-highest mark in program history.

DeGeorge was one of four Foresters with at least three goals in the contest. The first to record a hat trick was freshman
Audrey Kroeger, who followed DeGeorge's first tally with two of her own to tie the score at three. Her third made it a 5-3 game with 8:11 to play in the second and she tacked on one in the third quarter and another in the fourth for a career-high five goals on the day.
Senior
Emma Sharp led Lake Forest with nine points on six goals and three assists. She moved into sole possession of second place in program history with 125 goals and raised her career point total to 261, which is 41 away from the school record.
Junior
Ella Maher and seniors
Daulath Khan and
Shannon Gibbons each turned in four-point performances. Maher scored three goals, assisted on another, and added four draw controls on the afternoon. Khan and Gibbons each had a goal, three assists, and three caused turnovers. Senior

The Foresters set a school record by securing 21 of the game's 25 (84%) draw controls, limited the Vikings to six shot attempts, and posted the second-lowest opponent clear percentage in program history at .310 (9-for-29). Their 20 caused turnovers also rank tied-for-sixth in team annals.
Saturday's victory raised the Foresters' overall record to 6-4 and Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference mark to 4-0. Lawrence, meanwhile, fell to 1-8 overall and 1-3 in the league.
