The Forester women's lacrosse team remained perfect in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play after posting a 15-9 victory at Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday.
Junior
Ella Maher scored to give Lake Forest the lead less than four minutes into the contest and, after the Falcons tied the game, senior
Emma Sharp put the visitors on top for good with 6:44 to play in the first quarter. A pair of goals from sophomore
Avery Srnka and one from senior
Daulath Khan made the score 5-1 at the end of the period.
Khan and Sharp completed hat tricks in the second quarter and freshman
Madison DeGeorge added one as the Foresters pulled out to a 10-4 lead at halftime.
Lake Forest outscored Concordia Wisconsin 4-2 in the third quarter behind two more tallies from Khan and one each by DeGeorge and Srnka.
The home team netted three in a row in the fourth before Khan closed out the scoring with her sixth goal of the game. She also had two assists on the day for a career-high eight point performance that included the 100th of her career. Khan is now second on the team with 25 goals this season, one more than DeGeorge, while Sharp leads the squad with 36.
The Foresters' leader in ground balls this season is senior
Claire Aimone and she had a game-high five on Saturday. She also recorded a team-high three caused turnovers and now leads Lake Forest in that category as well. Maher and senior
Shannon Gibbons had five draw controls apiece and Lake Forest had a 16-10 advantage in that area as a team.

Cecilia Adams stopped 11 of 20 shots on goal on the day to raised her career save total to exactly 400.
Lake Forest improved to 8-4 overall and 6-0 in NACC play while Concordia Wisconsin fell to 6-6 overall and 4-2 in the league.
The Foresters will travel to Aurora University on Wednesday to take on the other 6-0 team in conference play at 4:00 p.m.
