In a game that featured 11 ties and eight lead changes and no advantage of more than a goal, the Lake Forest College men's lacrosse team was edged out 12-11 in overtime at Milwaukee School of Engineering Wednesdy night.
The game could not have been much more evenly-played with both teams attempting 40 total shots and committing 17 turnovers. The Foresters had a slight 26-24 edge in shots on goal, went 15-12 on faceoffs, and picked up 34 ground balls to the Raiders' 22 but did not come out on top on the scoreboard.

Ryan Dousevicz and sophomore
Aidan Wigton each scored twice and seven of their teammates had one goal apiece on the night. One of those was senior
Brendan Herbert, who matched the program record with the 115th tally of his career.
Senior faceoff specialist
Gabe Boston went 14-8 at the dot and led the visitors with six ground balls while sophomoreÂ
Jacob Avgoustakis finished with three ground balls and a team-high three caused turnovers.
Lake Forest had a 3-2 lead at the end of the opening period and the game was tied 6-6 at halftime. The Foresters took a 9-8 lead into the fourth quarter and were ahead 11-10 after goals just 41 seconds apart from freshman
Milo Closson and sophomore
Jackson Derosia.
MSOE tied the game with 5:23 remaining and netted the game-winner nearly three minutes into the four-minute overtime period.
Forester senior goalie
Jacob Lipson made a dozen saves, including one in overtime.
The loss dropped Lake Forest's overall record to 4-4 and Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference mark to 3-1. MSOE, meanwhile, improved to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the league.
The Foresters will travel to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, on Saturday to take on Marian University in another NACC game at 2:00 p.m.
