Lake Forest College swimmers

Audrey Kilmer were named Midwest Conference Performers of the Week on Tuesday after each was victorious three times in Saturday's doub le dual against Beloit College and host St. Norbert College.
Strada won the 1000-freestyle by 53 seconds with a pool record time of 10:06.47 and touched the wall first in the 100-IM in 55.77 seconds. The sophomore also swam the third leg for the 200-freestyle team that closed out the contest with a victory by three-tenths-of-a-second. Lake Forest defeated Beloit 147-31 and the relay win decided the dual with St. Norbert, which the Foresters took 113-100.

Kilmer also won three times as the Lake Forest women defeated Beloit but fell to St. Norbert. Swimming the backstroke, the junior gave the Foresters the early lead in the 200-medley relay, an event they eventually won by .54 seconds. She also prevailed in the 50-freestyle in 25.39 seconds and the 500-freestyle by nearly 18 seconds with a time of 5:19.70.
The meet was Lake Forest's final tuneup before the 2026 MWC Championships February 19-22. Strada, who was also named Forester Athlete of the Week Tuesday morning, is currently ranked second in the league in the 200-IM, third in the 1650-freestyle, and fifth in the 400-IM. Kilmer owns the MWC fastest times in the 100-freestyle and 200-backstroke and ranks among the top 10 in five other events.
MWC Performers of the Week are selected by the league's sports information directors. Strada has now earned the award twice this season and four times in his career while Kilmer's honor is her first this year and fifth as a Forester.
