The Forester swimming and diving teams took on Beloit College and host St. Norbert College in a double dual on Saturday. Lake Forest's men defeated Beloit 147-31 and St. Norbert 113-100 while the women rolled 139-59 against the Buccaneers but fell 124-94 to the Green Knights.
Lake Forest won half of the meet's 24 events, beginning with a sweep in the 200-medley relay to begin the competition. Junior

Matthew Strada contributed to three of the Foresters' triumphs, a performance that started with a time of 10:06.47 and 53-second win in the 1000m. He also touched the wall first in the 100-freestyle (55.77) later in the meet and swam a leg on the victorious 200-freestyle relay.
In addition to their 200-medley relay victory, Kilmer and Rozenbergas also finished first in two individual events apiece. Kilmer out-touched the runner-up by a hundredth of a second in the 50-freestyle in 25.39 and took the 500-freestyle by nearly 18 seconds with a time of 5:19.70. Rozenbergas won by more than a second in the 100-freestyle (1:01.01) and 50-butterfly (26.50).
Prior to Kilmer's taking the women's 50-freestyle, it took senior
Demetri Zemenides just 22.93 seconds to complete the men's race as the Foresters swept the event. They also swept the 50-backstroke with Schlosser taking the men's competition in 25.64 seconds and Hoffman the women's in 29.43.
The men's team's victory was clinched when Wilson, junior
Ben Scott, Strada, and Zemenides finished .3 seconds ahead of St. Norbert with a time of 1:29.37 in the 200-freestyle relay.
Saturday's competition completed the Foresters' 2025-26 dual meet schedule with the women finishing the year 8-3 and the men 7-4.
Lake Forest will have a weekend off from competition before traveling to Grinnell College for the 2026 Midwest Conference Championships February 19-22.
