The Lake Forest College swimming and diving teams traveled to Lawrence University for a double dual meet on Saturday that also included the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The Forester women defeated both opponents while the men outscored the hosts but fell to Whitewater.
Lake Forest women placed first in seven events, beginning with freshman
Lucy Bolling's triumph in the 1000-freestyle. With a time of 11:35.36, she finished just 1.1 seconds ahead of the runner-up from Whitewater.
The Foresters' next two winners each prevailed twice. Sophomore
Isabella Rozenbergas touched the wall first in the 200-freestyle (1:59.56) and 100-freestyle (54.09) and junior
Audrey Kilmer in the 200-IM (2:13.30) and 100-backstroke (1:02.26).

Joss Hoffman tied for first place in the 100-butterfly with a time of 1:01.74 and classmate
Abigail Atwell won the 500-freestyle in 5:45.45.
The Lake Forest men posted runner-up finishes in six individual events, Senior Alexander WIson accounted for two of them with his times of 22.59 in the 50-freestyle and 49.63 in the 100-freestyle, which was actually tied-for-second with senior
Demetri Zemenides.
The Foresters were also second in each of the meet's four relays. Junior
Cameron Schlosser contributed to two of them, leading off the men's 200-medley and anchoring the 200-freestyle.
The Lake Forest women are now 6-2 and the men 5-3 in dual meets this season.
Next Saturday the Foresters will host their Senior, Alumni, and Parents Day dual meet against Illinois Institute of Technology. It will begin at 1:00 p.m.
