Cross Country runners Lettia Hoda and Demos Manoukis were named Forester Athletes of the Week on Tuesday for their performance at Saturday's Midwest Conference Championship Meet.

Hoda earned All-MWC honors for the third time in her career with a 12th-place finish. The senior completed the 6-kilometer course at Beloit Country Club in 23:16 to finish ahead of exactly 100 runners in the race and lead Lake Forest to a sixth-place finish as a team.

Hoda's time ranks 24th in team history and she now owns three entries on the top-25 list. Her 12th-place finish was the best by a Forester in five years and she is one of just five runners in program history to earn all-conference accolades three times.

Manoukis was Lake Forest's top runner in the men's 8-kilometer race with a time of 26:41. The junior finished 19th out of 149 competitors and the Foresters placed seventh as a team.

Manoukis is just the second member of the men's program to be named All-MWC since 2019. His time on Saturday was the fastest of his career by more than 50 seconds.

The Forester Athlete of the Week honors are the first for Manoukis and sixth for Hoda, who has now earned the award three times each in cross country and track and field.
