Volleyball player L'Rae White and football player Dom Esposito were named Forester Athletes of the Week on Tuesday.

White helped lead Lake Forest to victory in two of their first three Midwest Conference matches of the season. She finished Tuesday night's three-set triumph at Beloit College with eight kills and three aces before tying for the team lead with six kills and a dozen digs in a three-set loss to Lawrence University on Friday. The team defeated Ripon College in four sets on Saturday with White pounding out 19 kills, the most by a Forester this year, and adding a pair of aces and a season-high-tying 13 digs.

White, a freshman outside hitter, committed just two attack errors in 33 attempts on Saturday for a hitting percentage of .515 on the day and .329 for the week. She also leads Lake Forest in that category for the season at .191.

Esposito, a senior wide receiver, caught eight passes for 177 yards; scored touchdowns on receptions of 54, 25, and 35 yards; and added an 8-yard run in the Foresters' 45-14 victory at Ripon College on Saturday. His receiving yardage total on the day ranks eighth in program history.

Esposito, who was also named MWC Offensive Performer of the Week and to the D3football.com Team of the Week, leads all of NCAA Division III with 837 receiving yards and a dozen touchdown catches this season. He is also among the national leaders with 6.5 receptions per game, 72 total points, 21.46 yards per reception, and 142.5 all-purpose yards per contest.

The Forester Athlete of the Week honors are the first for White and second for Esposito, who was also recognized on September 15.
