The Lake Forest College track and field teams traveled just across the state line to Kenosha where they competed in the University of Wisconsin-Parkside's Lake Michigan Open on Saturday.
Junior
Lettia Hoda turned in the Foresters' only victory of the day, taking the women's mile by nearly two seconds with a career-best time of 5:21.56. She still ranks second in program history in that event.
Junior
Ollie Francis was the runner-up in the men's 800m and his time of 1:56.58 was two-and-a-half seconds faster than the school record he set last season.
Three different Foresters finished fourth in an event on Saturday. Junior
Sophie Graham earned that place with a time of 11:21.62 in the women's 3000m while, on the men's side, freshman
Christopher Yoon was fourth in the 55m hurdles (8.13) and senior
Jermaine Robinson with a launch of 12.48m (40' 11.25") in the shot put.
Lake Forest athletes continued to make improvements to the program's list of the top five performers in every each event. Junior
Zoe Pavlu is now third in the women's 200m (29.00), sophomore
Alex Pavlov in the men's 200m (23.89), and sophomore
Jalen Williams in the men's long jump (6.03m/19' 9.5"). In addition, Pavlov was followed by sophomore

Lashenik is now the fifth-fastest Forester in the mile with a time of 4:35.29 and sophomore
Liam Foo holds the same spot on the program's list for the 400m with a clocking of 56.04 seconds.
The team will also be in action each of the next four weekends, beginning with next Saturday's Red Hawk Invite at Ripon College.
