Golfers Tyler Wengronowitz and Gabrielle Krebs were named Forester Athletes of the Week on Tuesday.

Both players recorded back-to-back birdies while posting a score of 73 (+1) at the Midwest Region Fall Classic on Friday. Wengronowitz tied for 27th place in a field of 246 players and led the Lake Forest men to a fifth-place finish at the 45-team event. Krebs was tied for second place out of 227 golfers and the Foresters were tied-for-ninth out of 39 teams.

Wengronowitz leads Lake Forest with a scoring average of 75.38 so far this season and the junior's career mark of 73.53 is the lowest in program history by more than two strokes per round.

Krebs also owns the program's best career scoring average at 80.85 and her current mark of 78.40 this year is slightly better than the single-season school record she set in 2024-25.

Wengronowitz was also a Forester Athlete of the Week three times last year while Krebs is now a nine-time honoree.
