The Midwest Conference released the list of 2024-25 Academic All-MWC honorees on Tuesday and 184 Forester student-athletes were recognized, the second-highest total in the league and the most in school history.

The criteria to become an Academic All-MWC selection includes a minimum grade point average of 3.33 during the entire academic year. Student-athletes who letter in any MWC sport are eligible for the award.

Football posted Lake Forest's largest number of Academic All-MWC selections with 34 while women's soccer (20), softball (19), women's track and field (19), men's track and field (15), men's tennis (10), women's basketball (10), and men's cross country (9) posted program record totals. Of the College's 15 sports that compete in the MWC, 10 had at least half of the final roster mentioned in Tuesday's release. Leading the way in terms of percentage were women's cross country with 12 of 13 team members honored, men's tennis with 10 of 11, and softball with 19 of 23.

Fifty-two of the Foresters listed were seniors or graduate students, including 19 four-time honorees.

Lake Forest also competes in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (men and women), St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (men's and women's golf), and Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (men's and women's lacrosse). In all, 229 Foresters have received conference academic honors, just three shy of last year's school record total with the NACC still to announce the award for men's and women's lacrosse.
