The Lake Forest College track team returned from Saturday's Red Hawk Invite at Ripon College with four program records and several other performance that rank among the best in team history.

The Forester women and men broke school records in the first running event of the meet, the 4x200m relay. Junior AJ Jones and freshmen Andrea Fernandez, Farah Tawfik, and Zahra Tait were the runners-up in the race with a time of 1:54.76. The men also placed second with sophomore Shuntaro Nakamura, freshman Alex Pavlov, and seniors Trentyn Tyson and Matthew Lungu finishing in 1:34.73.

Tait and sophomore Ollie Francis set additional team records in the women's long jump and men's 800m, respectively. Tait's leap of 4.72m (15'6") surpassed the mark she set a week ago and, with a time of 1:59.05, Francis is now the fastest Forester in the men's indoor 800m. Lake Forest had other notable performances in both events with freshman Jalen Williams now ranking ted-for-fourth in school history at 5.72m (18'9") in the men' long jump and fellow freshman Owen Lashenik fifth in the 800m with a time of 2:03.71.

Lake Forest's only victory of the day went to sophomore Sophie Graham, who out-raced the competition in the women's 5000m and her time of 18:54.21 ranks her second in program history. Classmate Lettia Hoda was fourth in the race and is now third in team annals with a time of 19:38.76. Freshman Demos Manoukis was fourth in the men's race in 17:51.12.

Pavlov and junior One Kenosi improved their standing in team history in the 400m. Kenosi remains fifth but ran a career-best time of 1:05.64 while Pavlov's clocking of 55.08 seconds moved him up a spot to third.

Sophomore Payton Ross and junior Jacquelyn Han finished among the leaders and narrowly missed matching their own school records in the 60m hurdles. Ross finished second in 8.58, missing his PR by .04 seconds, and Han was fifth and just .01 seconds from her best at 10.39.

Jones earned more points at the meet with a fourth-place finish in the 60m (8.18) and by finishing eight in the 200m (27.89). Tawfik and Kenosi are still fourth and fifth in program history in the latter event but turned in career-best times of 29.52 and 29.71, respectively.
