The Lake Forest College track team returned from Saturday's Red Hawk Invite at Ripon College with four program records and several other performance that rank among the best in team history.
The Forester women and men broke school records in the first running event of the meet, the 4x200m relay. Junior 
AJ Jones and freshmen 
Andrea Fernandez, 
Farah Tawfik, and 
Zahra Tait were the runners-up in the race with a time of 1:54.76. The men also placed second with sophomore 
Shuntaro Nakamura, freshman 
Alex Pavlov, and seniors 
Trentyn Tyson and 
Matthew Lungu finishing in 1:34.73.
Tait and sophomore 
Ollie Francis set additional team records in the women's long jump and men's 800m, respectively. Tait's leap of 4.72m (15'6") surpassed the mark she set a week ago and, with a time of 1:59.05, Francis is now the fastest Forester in the men's indoor 800m. Lake Forest had other notable performances in both events with freshman 
Jalen Williams now ranking ted-for-fourth in school history at 5.72m (18'9") in the men' long jump and fellow freshman 
Owen Lashenik fifth in the 800m with a time of 2:03.71.
Lake Forest's only victory of the day went to sophomore 
Sophie Graham, who out-raced the competition in the women's 5000m and her time of 18:54.21 ranks her second in program history. Classmate 
Lettia Hoda was fourth in the race and is now third in team annals with a time of 19:38.76. Freshman 
Demos Manoukis was fourth in the men's race in 17:51.12.
Pavlov and junior 
One Kenosi improved their standing in team history in the 400m. Kenosi remains fifth but ran a career-best time of 1:05.64 while Pavlov's clocking of 55.08 seconds moved him up a spot to third.
Sophomore 
Payton Ross and junior 
Jacquelyn Han finished among the leaders and narrowly missed matching their own school records in the 60m hurdles. Ross finished second in 8.58, missing his PR by .04 seconds, and Han was fifth and just .01 seconds from her best at 10.39.
Jones earned more points at the meet with a fourth-place finish in the 60m (8.18) and by finishing eight in the 200m (27.89). Tawfik and Kenosi are still fourth and fifth in program history in the latter event but turned in career-best times of 29.52 and 29.71, respectively.
After a weekend off from competition, Lake Forest will travel to the University of Chicago for the annual Margaret Bradley Invitational on Saturday, February 22.
