Two victories on the women's side and a pair of program records for the men highlighted the Forester swimming and diving team's performance at the 2025 Midwest Conference Championship Meet on Saturday.

The Lake Forest women won their first two events of Saturday night's finals session. The first went to sophomore Audrey Kilmer, who defended her title in the 400-IM by more than eight seconds with a time of 4:32.16. Freshman Isabelle Rozenbergas followed with her second victory of the weekend, taking the 100-butterfly in a meet record 55.81 seconds.

Senior Tucker Potts contributed to two school records on Saturday, the fourth and fifth of the meet for the Forester men. He bettered the previous mark in the 100-breaststroke with a time of 57.46 seconds in the morning prelims and then improved on that mark with a clocking of 57.14 seconds to finish second in the finals. Potts also swam the breaststroke leg on Lake Forest's 200-medley relay team, which also finished second at the meet but now ranks first in school history at 1:34.08. Sophomores Benjamin Scott and Cameron Schlosser and junior Alexander Wilson joined Potts on the relay.

Senior Sylvie Paddon-Jones added an eighth-place finish in the women's 400-IM while juniors Andrew Lee and Noah Garza were fourth and fifth, respectively, in the men's race.

Senior Michelle Paddon-Jones placed fifth and freshman Joss Hoffman seventh in the 100-butterfly with the former's time (58.01) improving her standing as the fourth-fastest woman in program history in that event. Sophomore Clayton Berg was even more impressive in the men's race, finishing third in 50.83 seconds, which ranks him third in the school record book. Schlosser added a seventh-place finish in the same race.

The 200-freestyle saw Lake Forest junior Valeria Welk finish fourth in the women's race before senior Ben Jacob placed sixth, Wilson seventh, and junior Demetri Zemedines eighth for the Forester men.

In addition to the performance by Potts, Lake Forest had the fifth-place finisher in both 100-breaststroke events. Junior Amelia Andres accomplished that in the women's race and freshman Matthew Strada in the men's.

Hoffman's second individual event of the day was the 100-backstroke, where she finished fourth and fellow freshman Sofia Reese was eighth. On the men's side senior Noah McAdam's time of 50.20 seconds was good for third place in the race and missed matching the program record he set Friday while leading off the 400-medley relay by just .01 seconds. Scott also chipped in with an eighth-place finish in the event.

The final three rounds of the men's 1-meter diving competition occurred Saturday night and Lake Forest freshman Jacob Jackson was fourth with 253.80 points.

Hoffman, Andres, and the Paddon-Jones sisters closed out the women's team's night with a third-place finish in the 200-medley relay, which they finished in 1:49.85.

The men's runner-up finish in the relay raised their point total at the meet to 412, which puts them 23.5 ahead of third place St. Norbert College. Host Grinnell College leads with 646.5. The Foresters rank third in the women's team standings with 372 points, 100 fewer than St. Norbert, who trails Grinnell by 124.

The MWC Championships will conclude on Sunday after athletes compete in the 1650-freestyle, 200-backstroke, 100-freestyle, 200-breatstroke, 200-butterfly, and 400-freestyle relay.
