A 1-2-3 finish in the women's 200-IM and three school records on the men's side highlighted the Forester swimming and diving team's performance on Thursday at the 2025 Midwest Conference Championship Meet.
Freshman
Isabella Rozenbergas provided the Foresters with their first title at the meet in the 200-IM. She set a league record in the event earlier in the season and her 2:05.89 broke the meet record by seventh-tenths of a second. Lake Forest sophomore
Audrey Kilmer was the runner-up in 2:08.55 and senior Sylvie Paddon Jones finished third in 2:12.63. Freshman
Joss Hoffman added a fifth-place finish in 2:13.01 as Lake Forest tallied 75 points in the event.
Senior
Noah McAdam contributed to three program record performances on Thursday. It was nearly four as he closed out the prelims with a time trial in the 200-freestyle, which he completed in 1:42.04, just .04 seconds slower than the mark set by Danny Tarkowski in 1994.

Demetri Zemenides on Lake Forest's 200-freestyle relay team. While they were the runners-up in the race, their time of 1:23.76 was the fastest in program history by nearly half a second.
Thursday's finals session ended with the 400-medley relay, which McAdam led off with a school record 100-backstroke split of 50.19 seconds. With senior
Tucker Potts swimming breaststroke, sophomore
Cameron Schlosser the butterfly, and Zemenides freestyle, the Foresters were once again second in the race with the best time in program history at 3:24.90.
While he didn't challenge the school record, McAdam also placed seventh in the 50-freestyle, where his time of 21.21 seconds ranks him fourth in team annals.
The Lake Forest women also turned in a runner-up performance in the 200-freestyle relay, where
Sylvie Paddon-Jones, Kilmer, Rozenbergas, and junior
Valeria Welk's time of 1:37.41 ranks them third in program history.
Welk also went on to place third in the 500-freestyle in 5:13.70 while fellow junior
Amelie Andres was fifth in 5:13.76. Sophomore
Gavin Biccum matched Welk's place in the men's race and his 4:39.21 in the prelims was a career-best time and slightly faster than his finals mark. He still ranks second in team history in the event.
Potts and sophomore
Clayton Berg qualified for the A-final in the men's 200-IM, where Potts was third in 1:55.98 and Berg sixth in 1:57.10.
After seven of the meet's 20 events, the Forester men have 195 points and trail second-place St. Norbert College by just 15. Grinnell leads the way with 304.5. The hosts are also in first place on the women's side with with 277 points, 38 ahead of St. Norbert. Lake Forest is in third place with 181.
Competition will continue on Saturday with prelims beginning at 10:00 a.m. and the finals at 5:30 p.m. The meet will conclude on Sunday.
