Lake Forest earned the Midwest Conference Championship on Saturday afternoon at Mohr Field, defeating Lawrence 1–0 to cap off another historic season. In a match with everything on the line, the Foresters delivered the moment they needed early and held strong the rest of the way to secure the title.

The deciding play arrived in the 18th minute. Freshman Maddie Vasquez stepped up and finished the opportunity that put Lake Forest in front, giving the Foresters the lead in the first half of the championship match. The goal proved to be the difference on a day where every possession carried weight.

Lake Forest continued to stay disciplined and connected as the match progressed, keeping their shape and responding to the moments the final demanded. The team showed poise throughout the afternoon as they protected their lead all the way to the final whistle.

Senior Greta Norville anchored the win in goal, recording two saves across all 90 minutes to secure the shutout and close out the championship result.

This title marks the program's second Midwest Conference Tournament Championship in the last three years, further establishing the Foresters as one of the league's most consistent contenders.

With the victory, the Foresters claimed the Midwest Conference Championship and officially secured their place in the 2025 NCAA National Tournament. Lake Forest will learn their opening-round opponent during the NCAA Selection Show on Monday at 10:00 a.m. CT.
