Max Jaldung was named one of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Three Stars of the Week on Tuesday for his performance in the Foresters' weekend series against Concordia University Wisconsin.
Jaldung turned in his first multi-goal performance as a Forester with two tallies in Friday night's 7-4 loss. The sophomore forward's first score of the contest knotted the score at three mid-way through the second period and the second at four just 41 seconds into the third.
Lake Forest earned a split in the series by prevailing 6-2 Saturday night in Mequon, Wisconsin. Jaldung scored twice again and also assisted on the goal that broke a 2-2 tie late in the second period. He also won 12 of 17 faceoffs in his first career three-point game.
Jaldung is now second on the team with five goals and sixth with six points this season.
