The Foresters pulled off an electric comeback in the final minutes to take down Lawrence 2–1 in a wild finish Tuesday night.

After a scoreless first half and a penalty goal from Lawrence's Daito Sho in the 79th minute, Lake Forest flipped the script with a pair of clutch strikes just minutes apart. Senior Miguel Rodriguez tied it in the 87th minute, burying a low shot to the center of the net. Then, with barely over two minutes left in regulation, freshman Chad Endozo sealed the deal with a composed finish assisted by freshman Rocky Rabago, igniting the Forester bench.

Lake Forest dominated the stat sheet, firing off 24 shots (15 on goal) and earning 13 corner kicks to Lawrence's 4. Rodriguez and Endozo each netted a goal, while Rabago tallied the lone assist. Freshman Conor Leuschke stood tall in net with four saves across 51 minutes, while sophomore Kyle Demmon helped close out the victory in goal to secure the 2–1 win.
