The Midwest Conference released its 2025 Women's Swimming and Diving Coaches Poll this week and Lake Forest College is listed third.
Voting is done by the MWC head women's swimming and diving coaches. Each coach votes for the other eight schools in the league in order of predicted finish. Points are assigned in reverse order of voting (eight points for first, seven for second, etc.). Coaches may not vote for their own teams.
Grinnell College was atop the ballots of eight of the nine coaches in the league and finished with the maximum 64 points. St. Norbert College received the other first-place vote and edged out the Foresters 55 points to 52. Monmouth College was fourth at 37.
Lake Forest finished third at each of the last two MWC Championship Meets and was second the previous two years.
The Foresters open their second season with Andrew Lind as head coach with a double dual meet against league foes Ripon College and host Beloit College on Saturday, October 11. After competing in three additional double duals, three traditional dual meets, a pair of invitationals, and a quadrangular, the team will travel to Grinnell for the 2026 MWC Championship Meet February 19-22.
Included on Lake Forest's roster are the last two MWC Swimmers of the Year in Audrey Kilmer (2024) and Isabella Rozenbergas (2025) and two MWC Newcomers of the Year in Izabella Harju (2024) and Amelia Andres (2023). Kilmer is the defending champion in the 400-IM and 200-backstroke, Rozenbergas in the 200-IM and 100-butterfly, and Andres in the 1650-freestyle.
Lake Forest has placed among the top three in the league at 15 of the last 16 championship meets and captured league titles in 2012 and 2020.
