The Forester women's lacrosse team posted a convincing 18-3 victory at the University of Northwestern in Saint Paul, Minnesota, on Saturday.
Senior
Ryleigh Nelson, who leads the Midwest Lacrosse Conference in points and assists, contributed to seven of Lake Forest's 10 goals in the first quarter and finished the contest with five goals and six assists. The 11 points were just one shy of her own program record and Nelson has now reached double figures in points in five games this year, including each of the last three.
Forester junior
Jenna Doctor matched Nelson with five goals and continues to lead the league with 66 on the season. Senior
Ali Graham also had a hat trick while junior
Abby Meyer and freshman
Alyssa Dyson chipped in with two goals apiece and sophomore
Emma Sharp added one.
Freshman
Ella Maher led the visitors with five ground balls and six draw controls while Nelson and sophomore
Isabel Bersie shared team-high honors in caused turnovers with three each.

Cecilia Adams stopped seven of the Eagles' nine on-target shots in the first three quarters and junior
Calliope Saban added four saves in five chances in the fourth.
The victory was the 12th in a row for the Foresters, who are now 12-2 overall and 4-0 in MLC play this season. Northwestern fell to 5-8 overall and 1-3 in the league.
Lake Forest will host the College of Saint Benedict next Saturday at 1:00 p.m. A victory would secure the Foresters' second conference title in the three-year history of the program.
