The Lake Forest College track team battled cold and windy conditions at Wheaton College's Don Church Twilight Meet on Saturday.
The Foresters' top performance came from freshman
Lettia Hoda in the women's 3000m, which she completed in 10:57.87. It was the fastest outdoor 3000 in program history, surpassing Emily Staufer's 11:06.84 in 2018.
Sophomore
Ali Faiz also made school history in the men's 3000m posting the program's second-fastest outdoor time at 9:15.88.
The team's top placing at the meet actually belonged to freshman
Ollie Francis in the men's 800m. His time of 1:59.03 was good for fifth at the meet while Lake Forest junior
Bart Brophy was sixth in 1:59.07.
Junior
Matthew Lungu earned points in the men's 400m, where he finished sixth in 51.05 seconds.
Sophomore
Jacquelyn Han was seventh in the women's 400m hurdles with a clocking of 1:20.79.
The next meet on the Foresters' schedule is next Friday's Elmhurst Invitational, which will begin at 2:00 p.m.
