A goal by the Sabres late in the second made the score 8-3 at halftime and, after Herbert struck twice and Gaston once early in the third, three in a row from the visitors made it an 11-6 game with a quarter to play. The margin reached eight at 14-6 in the fourth before two goals from Marian and one from Tartaglione accounted for the final score.
The Foresters remained undefeated after four games this year while Wednesday's game was the season opener for Marian.
