The Lake Forest College women's tennis team had its five-match winning streak come to an end Sunday night on a 7-2 loss to Carthage College at the Racquet Club of Lake Bluff.
Junior
Sara Lopez provided the Foresters' first point of the evening with a 6-3, 6-2 triumph at #2 singles.
The second came from freshman
Kate Feist at #3, where she was blanked 6-0 in the first set before taking the second 6-1 and the third set super tiebreaker 10-7.
The Foresters are now 14-4 and the Firebirds 10-6 on the season.
Lake Forest will take on Principia College next Saturday evening at 5:00. The match will be played at River Trails Tennis Center in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
