Careah Baitlon led Lake Forest with nine points, however Lake Forest (2-7) was stifled by Colby's (3-5) defense for much of the game. The Foresters shot just 30.2 percent from the field and were held to 3-for-14 (21.4 percent) from the three-point line.

Peyton Davidson provided a bright spot for Lake Forest with six points and four rebounds off the bench. It marked a personal season high in both points and rebounds for the senior from Sammamish, Wash. Senior
Rebecca Christodoulou chipped in eight points and five rebounds for Lake Forest.

The Foresters could not get into a rhythm on the offensive end right from the tip off and trailed 21-8 after the first quarter. Lake Forest could not get traction in the second quarter either, as Colby's lead ballooned over 20 by halftime.

Lake Forest turned the ball over a season-high 31 times as a team. The Mules took advantage of the Foresters' poor ball security by cashing in 32 points off turnovers. In addition, Lake Forest recorded only five assists as a team Sunday, which set a new season low.

The Foresters will continue their run in the Florida Sunshine Shootout on Monday, as they will take on York College of Pennsylvania at 1 p.m. (ET).
