The Lake Forest College women's soccer team had its 15-game unbeaten streak and its season come to an end on Saturday in overtime of the 2024 Midwest Conference Tournament final. Visiting Lawrence University came out on top 2-1 on Mohr Field.
It was an evenly-matched game between the league's co-champions with the Foresters having a slight 8-7 edge in shot attempts and six corner kick opportunities to Lawrence's five.
The Vikings scored the first goal of the contest midway through the first half and continued to lead 1-0 until the 58th minute.

Izzy DeStefano, who scored the only goal in Friday's 1-0 semifinal victory over Beloit College, struck again on Saturday at the 57:18 mark to tie the score. She took a cross from the left side of the field by junior forward
Anna Gracia and sent her shot into the left side of the net. It was DeStefano's 14the goal and Gracia's team-high 11th assist of the year.
Lawrence headed in the golden goal with 1:16 remaining in the first overtime period.
The Foresters finished the season 14-3-3 while Lawrence will take a mark of 15-4-2 into the NCAA Division III Tournament.
