The Lake Forest College women's soccer team posted its seventh shutout victory in the last eight games on Tuesday, prevailing 1-0 at Beloit College.
The Foresters out-shot the Buccaneers 24-6 and put 10 shots on goal to the home team's two.

Franca Finch needed to make just two saves, including one diving to her right in the 71st minute, to record her fifth shutout of the season and the 13th of her career. She improved to 7-1-2 with a 0.92 goals against average this year.
The only goal of the contest was scored by junior
Anna Gracia in the 22nd minute. She headed in a cross from the right side of the field by freshman
Annabelle Schroeder and is now tied with fellow Forester junior
Anna Hoffman for the Midwest Conference lead with 13 points during league play. She has 21 points on seven goals and seven assists in all games this fall.
Lake Forest improved to 10-2-3 overall and 5-0-1 in conference and clinched a spot in the four-team MWC Tournament. Beloit fell to 4-9-3 overall and 3-2-1 in the MWC.
The Foresters will travel to Jacksonville, Illinois, to take on Illinois College Saturday night at 7:00.
