The Forester football team prevailed 54-7 at Lawrence University on Saturday and reached the midpoint of the regular season without a loss.

Chunn's 2-yard burst into the end zone gave Lake Forest a 7-0 lead after a quarter of play and he added an 8-yarder late in the second to make the score 41-0 at halftime. Jackson, who entered the game ranked tied-for-third in the nation with 54 points, caught a 41-yard touchdown pass and scored on a 6-yard run early in the second.

Forester senior wide receiver Tee Land out-jumped a Viking defender for a 20-yard touchdown reception and senior linebacker Nik Rieck had a 19-yard interception return for a score in the second quarter as well. Lake Forest's 34 points in the period are the fourth-highest total in any quarter in program history.

He also scored on a 5-yard run to close out the scoring late in the third quarter. The other touchdown came on a 29-yard run by senior tailback Jayce Knutsen and freshman John Shannon connected on six extra point attempts.

Rieck's interception was his second of the season and the eighth of his career. Fifth-year safety Trenton Brail also raised his career interception total to eight and senior linebacker Jackson Gehrisch grabbed his second.
