The Forester women's basketball team dropped a 66-54 decision at Cornell College on Saturday.
Lake Forest led 12-3 before the Rams closed out the first quarter with eight straight points and started the second with seven more. The teams went into the locker room at halftime with Cornell ahead 26-20. The home team went on an 11-1 run to increase its lead to 17 points after three quarters of play and the margin remained in double figures throughout the fourth.

Rebecca Christodoulou led all players in the game with a career-high 21 points. She shot 8-for-13 from the field and added seven rebounds. Sophomore guard
Taylor Major was next on the team with a dozen points and junior forward
Emmy Punches had nine.
Punches pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds, Major grabbed nine, and the visitors had a 45-35 edge in that category as a team. Both teams shot 35 percent from the field overall but the Rams outscored their guests 27-9 on three-pointers and 17-11 from the free throw line. Lake Forest committed 27 of the game's 46 turnovers.
The Foresters fell to 2-11 overall and 1-4 in Midwest Conference play. Cornell is now 6-8 overall and 4-1 in the league.
Lake Forest will be in action again Tuesday night against visiting Ripon College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
