Box Score The Lake Forest College men's hockey team was defeated 4-2 at Concordia University Wisconsin Saturday night.
The Falcons jumped out to the early lead for the second straight evening, scoring at the 6:10 mark of the opening period and converting a power play opportunity at 9:59.
The Foresters answered with a power play goal of their own two minutes later. It came off the stick of sophomore forward

The score remained 2-1 throughout the remained of the first two periods. Concordia Wisconsin finally added to its lead just 31 seconds into the third and tacked on another power play goal at the 5:18 mark.Â
Lake Forest's second power play goal of the night and fifth of the weekend made the score 4-2 with just 20.5 seconds on the clock. Sophomore forward
Chase Freiermuth scored it and now leads the team with eight goals and 16Â points this year. He was assisted by Derraugh and junior forward
Connor Tartaglione.
The Foresters out-shot the Falcons 51-28 in the contest but still fell to 5-10-0 overall and 2-6-0 in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play. Concordia Wisconsin improved to 6-9-0 overall and evened it league record at 4-4-0.
Lake Forest will take on Marian University in another home-and-home series next weekend with the teams facing off in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, Friday night at 7:00 and in the Foresters' Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse at the same time on Saturday.
