The Forester men's hockey team played its highest-scoring game so far this season Friday night but was defeated 7-6 in overtime by Concordia University Wisconsin.
Both teams had two-goal leads disappear in the contest. The Falcons were ahead 2-0 after less than three-and-a-half minutes of play but Lake Forest goals from senior forward

Connor Tartaglione made it a 2-2 game by the first intermission.
After combining for four goals in the opening period, the teams netted six in the second. Concordia Wisconsin regained the lead at the 4:03 mark but the Foresters responded with three unanswered goals, including a pair of power play scores, in a span of less than four minutes. Junior defenseman

Jared Gerger converted a power play opportunity to put the home team on top at 9:43, and senior defenseman
Connor Scahill took advantage of a Falcon in the penalty box again at 11:35.
Concordia Wisconsin answered the Foresters' three-goal run with one of their own. After tying the score with a pair of goals late in the second, the visitors pulled back ahead just 94 seconds into the third.
More than 12 minutes passed before Lake Forest tied the score for the final time on a power play goal by sophomore forward
Logan Kittleson with 5:51 on the clock. The Foresters finished the night 3-for-3 and the Falcons 0-for-1 on the power play.
The decisive goal came with just 48.7 seconds remaining in the five-minute overtime period.
Lake Forest had a 50-47 edge in shots on goal in the contest.
Both teams are now 5-9-0 overall this season. Concordia Wisconsin improved to 3-4-0 while the Foresters fell to 2-5-0 in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association play. Lake Forest, however, has nine points in the standings to the Falcons' eight, thanks to three overtime losses on the year.
The teams will complete their weekend series in Mequon, Wisconsin, Saturday night at 7:00.
