The Forester women's hockey team was defeated 4-0 at the College of Saint Benedict Thursday night.

The home team out-shot Lake Forest 19-8 and scored three times in the first period.

Both teams put nine shots on goal in the second period and the Foresters had a 9-4 advantage in that category in the third. Saint Benedict's other tally came late in the second stanza.

The loss dropped the Foresters' record on the season to 9-6-0 while Saint Benedict improved to 6-4-2.

The same two teams will face off again Friday afternoon at 3:00.
