The Forester women's tennis team hosted and defeated Milwaukee School of Engineering 9-0 on Wednesday in the first home match of the season.

Lake Forest players won 96 of 104 games in the contest.

Senior Margaret Bugnacki and freshman Sofia Strupovets prevailed 8-1 at the top of the doubles lineup while junior Sara Lopez and sophomore Rebecca Daskal rolled 8-2 at #2. The home team was even more dominant at #3, where freshmen Kristen Ahn and Kate Feist did not drop a game.

Strupovets and Bugnacki took both sets 6-0 at #1 and #2 singles, respectively, to clinch the team victory. Ahn won 6-0, 6-2 at #3 and Lopez 6-1, 6-0 at #4. Feist matched Lopez's score at #5 and Daskal closed out the match with a 6-0, 6-1 decision at #6.

Lake Forest is now 4-1 on the young season and will begin Midwest Conference play in Iowa on Saturday, playing at Grinnell College at 9:00 a.m. and Cornell College six hours later.
