The Lake Forest College men's soccer team dropped their first home game of the season to Wheaton College 2-0 on Wednesday evening.
The Forester offense was impressive in their aggressiveness and drive. And while Lake Forest's defense was able to hold the Thunder scoreless in the first 45 minutes of the game, Wheaton roared back and scored twice in the second half.
Lake Forest out-shot their opponents 11-8, but their four shots on goal were saved by the Wheaton goalkeeper.
The Foresters play again on Saturday, September 9 at 2:45 at Dominican University.
