The Lake Forest men's soccer team kicked 24 shots as it played against Ripon College on Wednesday. Despite the high number of attempts and the 11 shots that were on goal, only one found the net.
The lone Forester goal came in the first nine minutes of play and was made Junior
Ifet Mrkalj, assisted by senior
Elliot Hull. The Redhawks evened the score just over five minutes later at the 13:41 mark, and the score remained unchanged for the next 76 minutes.

Lake Forest now has a 1-0-1 record in conference play. They'll travel to Galesburg, Illinois on Saturday to play at Knox College.
