The Lake Forest women's soccer team suffered a steep 4-0 loss against St. Mary's College on Friday evening. Despite some passionate play and defensive moves, the Foresters were unable to hold of the surging Belles.
St. Mary's had eight shots with seven of them being on goal; they connected with the net at the 21:24 mark and then were able to carry their momentum into the second half, where they scored three more goals.
The Forester offense was held scoreless. Lake Forest had only six shots, and only one of them was on goal.
Lake Forest plays again on Sunday against Concordia University Chicago at 1:00 p.m.
